I have chosen to look up and observe my surroundings instead of looking down. The awe of nature and the forms it presents is a never ending inspiration and driving influential force for my work. In 2012, I started sculpting and I fell in love with the process of using clay as a medium. I am inspired by the intrigue and curiosity that the human face and figure provoke as well as universal expression and allure of the physical language of the body itself. Whether for minutes or years of walking the same path in common experience, I give gratitude for the individuals with whom I have crossed paths. I have a hunger for knowledge and I am in awe of the organic biology that births form, movement and the miracle of existence within this consciousness, this world, this unique universe.
